Just Don't Do It
Reviewed by citygirl8 on 2006-01-02T21:46:21Z

All we needed was somewhere to sleep, since we were spending all day at Disney. While at the front desk, 3 different guests walked up siting their keys didn't work. Neither did ours. Thankfully though, our door didn't work either. It didn't close all the way, so we jimmy'd the lock with the key. (Had to use the deadbolt to keep it closed.)We were told we couldn't get more towels since the housekeeping staff had gone home, and the business center didnt belong to the hotel, so they couldn't help with the printer not working. All we wanted was a place to sleep, but it was so much trouble, it was an inconvenience. Just choose somewhere else to stay and save yourself the irritation and frustration.

Good at a discount rate only

We stayed at the Maingate in May for our trip to Disneyland. Our reservation was for a king size bed and they didn't have any available so we had to take one with two double beds, the room was ok, some stains in the carpet an sofa but not a big deal. If you have to stay here I would recommend to eat at the cafe, they have some really good food and you get a 50% discount. The hotel in the area are expensive so try to get a WEBDISCOUNT or look for some specials.

Modern & Remodeled

We stayed here for our anniversay weekend in LA, and it was very nice and modern. I loved the bathroom, it had marble countertops and beds were comfortable. I thought it wasnt that bad for a newly remodeled place. The downside was that the bathtub took awhile to drain. But other than that, I wouldnt mind staying here again. Also very convinent walk to disneyland and shops!
